Santa: Santa Claas, as portrayed by Francis “Frank” DenDulk
As Santa Claas, Frank has portrayed the modern American Santa for over three decades. Traits of the jolly Nordic elf, Christian Saint Nicholas, Dutch Sinterklaas, and ancestors “Claas” are integrated into this character.
Twelve generations ago, CLAAS (pronounced “clAHss”) was Frank’s family surname. Truly a “Son of Claas”, Santa is in his genes!
Prior to this year, nearly all Frank’s work as Santa was voluntary and/or charitable. Then in 2023, increasingly active membership in the Worldwide Santa Claus Network coupled with a number of other inspirational catalysts motivated him to become a professional Claus Portrayal Artist.
As a father of four, step-father of three, and grandfather of eleven, his cumulative parental experience with children exceeds 200 years! In earlier life, Frank was a certified K-12 teacher in his home state of New Jersey. More so, for years he served as a multi-season, volunteer coach for children’s recreational sports leagues.

Mrs. Claus: Christine Chringle Claas,

Christine Chringle Claas is a superb “Mrs. Claus”! She is a wonderful addition to the Santa experience, especially when young children are shy or hesitant about of Santa. Children can easily go to her first for reassurance and quiet conversation.
As a mother of three, step-mother of four, and grandmother of eleven, she has spent a good deal of life entertaining and managing children! Fully fluent in English and Ukrainian, she has taught children’s classes in Ukrainian-American churches.
Mrs. Claus does not appear solo. She functions to enhance Pocono Santa Encounter’s sharing the wonderment of the Christmas experience.
Did you know that she is really the keeper of the Naughty & Nice List? And she knows where the candy canes are kept!
